Digital Horizons: Empowering Youth Through Video Storytelling - First Project Meeting in Sofia

“The foundation of the Digital Horizons project was laid through strategic planning, collaboration and the first steps toward international teamwork.”

The first project meeting of the Erasmus+ KA2 project “Digital Horizons: Empowering Youth through Video Storytelling” was held on 11–12 October 2024 in Sofia, Bulgaria, hosted by High School 30 “Bratya Miladinovi”.

The first project meeting of the Erasmus+ KA2 project (KA210-SCH-000245406) “Digital Horizons: Empowering Youth through Video Storytelling” took place on 11–12 October 2024 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The meeting was hosted by High School 30 “Bratya Miladinovi” and brought together representatives of the partner organizations involved in the project. During the meeting, partners discussed the main goals, planned activities and implementation steps of the project. Special attention was given to the development of the action plan for the first project year, the distribution of responsibilities, communication methods, project visibility and dissemination activities.

Participants also had the opportunity to visit the host school, observe its educational environment and learn more about the Bulgarian education system. This part of the visit helped strengthen cooperation between the partner institutions and created a better understanding of each school’s working environment. The meeting also focused on project branding, the use of Erasmus+ visibility elements, monitoring and evaluation procedures, and the exchange of materials between partners. These discussions helped establish a clear structure for future workshops, trainings and collaborative video storytelling activities.

The event concluded with the signing of project-related documents and a cultural visit in the center of Sofia. The meeting created a strong foundation for the successful implementation of the Digital Horizons project and opened the way for future cooperation between the partner organizations.
